PUMPKIN RECIPES FOR KIDS

    •  Hope you tried out the pumpkin recipes on my last post!!! If you did please be sure to let me know. Well let's move on...
    • Pumpkin Casserole
    • This recipe makes a real dessert and not just a new pumpkin dish for kids! This will delight everyone with a sweet tooth in your family. It'll be a great idea to offer a pumpkin casserole to “little” guests at a children's party or at “mother's” gatherings with children - tasty, healthy and interesting!
    • Ingredients
    • 350 g sliced pumpkin
    • Semolina - 75 g
    • Egg - 1
    • Sugar - 3 Tsp
    • Raisin or chopped dried apricots - 20 - 30 g
    • Cooking
    • Again, as in the previous recipes, boil the vegetable, but now completely drain the water and blend. Add the egg and sugar and mix. Add semolina bit by bit into the pumpkin-egg mixture making sure there are no lumps. Add raisins or dried apricots. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare small muffin cups by spraying with baking spray or buttering. Spread the mixture into forms and bake for 25-40 minutes. Remember, the less your baking forms, the less baking time! In your children's menu, and in any adults, such a pumpkin dish will make a pleasant variety.

    • Pumpkin balls
      • It is not necessary to cook only sweet desserts from a bright vegetable. As we remember, it may as well be a component of a dish that can be given to children from one year old.

      • Grate the pumpkin and squeeze out the juice. Put the grated pumpkin in a pan and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes adding the juice and cream. Take off the heat, when cool add the egg and semolina into the mixture. Add some salt, form the pumpkin balls, dip it into the breadcrumbs and cook. Serve immediately.
